Enfin, le printemps a fait son entrée

Now that the winter's gone, the earth hath lost
Her snow-white robes, and now no more the frost
Candies the grass, or casts an icy cream
Upon the silver lake or crystal stream;
But the warm sun thaws the benumbed earth,
And makes it tender; gives a sacred birth
To the dead swallow; wakes in hollow tree
The drowsy cuckoo, and the humble-bee.
Now do a choir of chirping minstrels bring
In triumph to the world the youthful Spring.
The valleys, hills, and woods in rich array
Welcome the coming of the long'd-for May.
Now all things smile, only my love doth lour;
Nor hath the scalding noonday sun the power
To melt that marble ice, which still doth hold
Her heart congeal'd, and makes her pity cold.
The ox, which lately did for shelter fly
Into the stall, doth now securely lie
In open fields; and love no more is made
By the fireside, but in the cooler shade
Amyntas now doth with his Chloris sleep
Under a sycamore, and all things keep
Time with the season; only she doth carry
June in her eyes, in her heart January.

Collaboration with Spadari: Cuban days

Hello guys,

As the Blooming spring starts to show us with its warm breeze in the rainy London, I’m going to talk about one of my latest acquisitions. I got a shirt from the brand Spadari, based in Milan, which I am collaborating with. It is the slim blue shirt with white pin-stripes shown in the picture above.

When I opened the refined packed that came in a quick delivery, I noticed the quality of its fabric, a very soft shirt with a clean look which is ideal for business days. The tones are soft and not strong so that makes the shirt perfect for everyday use, and also it’s going to become one of my key shirts since now on due to the comfort given once I’m wearing it. Light but not extremely thin.

I’m so happy that I’m going to make a couple of looks. The first on is this one inspired in the spring Cuban days. This is the perfect outfit for these warm days and for those gentlemen who feel the need to dress smart besides the warm temperatures. The outfit is a linen white suit with bicolour brogues, tan belt, a spring hat and a colourful blue pocket square.

For more information about the shirt you can check the website, highly recommended.

Love means nothing in tennis, but it's everything in life

Hi all!

Happy St. Valentine! You see, now I'm starting to post more often, and I hope to post at least once or twice a week. Let's see how it goes ;)

As many of you know, I'm not a big fan of the day of St. Valentine. Not because I do not like love, do not get me wrong. It is since I think it should be shown every day. Show love and appreciation to all your loved ones and surprise them with daily surprises when they least expect them.

Now I present my outfit for the day. As you can see I was inspired by one of the most important colors this season, the maroon and Gucci looks for this spring / summer.

The skinny suit, the loafers and thing dottie tie are in that color, I've outfitted with chocolate colored gloves, a tan folio bag (for more information, click here) and a belt of the same color, without forgetting the Pocket Square and silver tie-pin.

Hope you like,

See you soon,

A

Holdall & Co, a true vintage inspiration

Hi everyone,

Today I have the pleasure to present a true work of art. The folio by Holdall & Co.

"Holdall & Co is a designer of leather accessories 'Made in England'. Their first product is an under-arm bag foil which is made by highly skilled case English makers who have decades of experience using the highest quality top grain leather.

The designer told me she has been collecting vintage bags, Especially ones 'made in England' for quiet a few years now Which inspired her to design something That would Reflect the same values. She Decided to start Holdall & Co Because She Wanted to create a stylish yet durable product will stand the test That of time and age nicely with use the way her vintage pieces have.

The folios are a 30's inspired design minimalistically Which is timeless yet modern, with a useful newspaper / umbrella loop on the back for easy use when on the go. Each sheet is made to exacting standards with hand stitched corners and polished edges Inglés That case makers are renowned for, making each a unique piece of art.

I highly recommend to have a look to her website

Also you can follow her @ Also holdallandco & www.facebook.com / holdallco
When I received the folio, I noticed the little vintage touches like the little strap that wrapped the package. After knowing the brand, its ethos and vision I decided to create an outfit to go beautifully with the bag.

I opted for a real vintage jacket from the 40s from the British Army, taupe trousers, tan brogues and a red tie to make the outfit to look a bit more formal.
